Naomi needs to add some information here about Caspian horses and their suitability for therapy. Ie details about their size and personalities and their ability to work in natural groups. The following is only an example:
Caspian Assisted Therapies use Caspian horses as therapy horses
The Caspian is a small horse breed native to Northern Iran. Although its height ranges between 9 and 11.2 hands it is described as a horse rather than a pony because it has much in common with horses in terms of conformation, gait and character. It is believed to be one of the oldest horse breeds in the world, descended from small Mesopotamian equines that, in competition with larger animals, had faded from attention by the 7th century AD. They were brought to public notice again when rediscovered in 1965 by Louise Firouz, an American-born breeder of Iranian horses living in Iran. The Sirhowie Stud specifically seeks to support and encourage the growth of many bloodlines of this rare breed.
Caspian horses are natural people pleasers. They are team players who work well in groups and have a natural curiosity about what is happening around them. They enjoy engaging with people and have a warm, gregarious, gentle nature. This combined with their diminutive stature makes them perfect as therapy horses.
